Desert Luxury Camp has two camps in the heart of Morocco’s Sahara Desert, our Erg Chebbi Luxury Desert Camp and Erg Chigaga Luxury Desert Camp. Both of these camps have Dome Tents, perfect for honeymooners looking for exclusive accommodation characterized by peace and serenity.
Our Dome Tents are set apart from the main camps, meaning you have nothing but golden dunes to surround you. Yet you’ll have everything you need right with you, as these tents come equipped with electricity and private bathrooms with showers, flushing toilets, and hot and cold water.
Upon arrival at your accommodation, you’ll find that your tent is decked out with wooden handcrafted furniture, luxe linen, plush towels, and some red roses for the couple. The wide windows give you the feeling of being a part of the desert, even while you rest in the cool air-conditioning.
With lounge chairs set up outside and a dining area just for two, you can relax and dine in complete privacy. Our Erg Chebbi Camp is located in the Zniqui dunes right near Erg Chebbi, the most popular dunes in Morocco. Here, the dunes rise over 100 metres and spread across kilometers, earning it the nickname “Sea of Dunes”. Our camp offers close proximity to the dunes, allowing you to explore for hours on end.
Activities we offer at Erg Chebbi Desert Camp include sandboarding on the dunes and going on 4×4 excursions to meet local nomads or search for fossils. At an additional price, you can go horseback riding in the dunes, take to the sand on quad bikes, buggies, or fat bikes, or enjoy a stargazing lecture by a professor that includes the use of a telescope.
One of the major highlights of Morocco honeymoon packages at our Erg Chebbi Camp is its tented swimming pool — the only pool you’ll find for miles!
Erg Chigaga is one of the more remote regions in the Moroccan Sahara, making our Erg Chigaga Camp blissfully private. The closest town is M’Hamid, from where you’d still have to embark on a two-hour drive in a 4×4 to reach Erg Chigaga!
Because of its relative inaccessibility, you’ll practically have the dunes to yourself. You can relish the romantic seclusion, with miles of desert stretching out before you.
